About Angelina

My Background

I'm Angelina Kaduk. I tattoo out of my own private studio in Toco Hills, Atlanta (ITP), by appointment only. Most of what I make is large-scale: Japanese sleeves and back pieces, black-and-grey florals, mandala and geometric work.

Tattooing is my true life passion, and I’ve been building towards it for most of my life - starting with formal art study early on, then years of professional visual-art work before entering tattooing full-time.

I began studying visual arts in grade school through evening music and art programs, and continued into college-level visual arts. I worked as a visual artist (illustration, painting, graphic design) before venturing into the tattoo world.

In 2019, I started tattooing and apprenticed with Vinnie Batlle at Bold City Tattoo in Jacksonville, Florida, and remained there as a full-time artist until late 2021.

In late 2021, I moved to Atlanta and joined Thunderbolt Tattoo & Piercing.

In July 2026, I opened my own private tattoo studio in the Toco Hills neighborhood of Atlanta, where I operate today.

How I got Here

I was born and raised in Kyiv, Ukraine. While in grade school, I attended music and art evening schools, first finding my passion for visual arts. After graduating high school, I went on to study visual arts in college, continuing my path in arts.

In 2012 I moved to the United States with very little and settled in Jacksonville FL. In 2017, I decided to reenter the art world full-time, and started drawing and painting, testing out various business avenues, including arts markets and taking commissions.

Around that time, I started being more curious about tattooing as a career choice. I’ve always been fascinated with tattoos, but haven’t explored ways of pivoting from being a visual artist and illustrator to becoming a tattoo artist.

Finding an apprenticeship as a female artist over thirty with a child took some persistence. Vinnie Batlle at Bold City in Jacksonville took me on in 2019, and I spent three years there. In late 2021 I moved to Atlanta and joined Thunderbolt Tattoo, where I worked until opening my own studio this year.

Away from the tattoo machine, I'm still painting and drawing. I garden, I bake, I travel whenever I can - usually with a sketchbook.

Credentials

Seven years tattooing - since 2019. Apprenticed with and learned from the best of the best! Fully licensed in Georgia, bloodborne-pathogen certified, studio inspected by Department of Public Health.
