Floral Tattoos in Atlanta
Floral tattoos is the style I did the most of in the first 4-5 years of my career. I’ve always loved to draw and paint flowers as a visual artist, and naturally carried that passion with me into tattooing. My style gravitates towards black & grey, stipple shading, and soft gradients, generally larger scale work - from shoulder pieces to half-sleeves, thighs, and beyond. But a single well-drawn stem is a real piece too, and I'm happy to make one.
What I care about most in a floral piece is how it sits on the body. A flower drawn flat and stuck on an arm can read like a sticker. The same flower, if drawn and designed well, reads like part of you. That's most of what I'm thinking about while I design.
What a floral project looks like
$250/hr, $100 minimum. A full day is six hours of tattooing; although four is what I book more often for 1 session when trying to balance comfort and completion.
A single piece can be accomplished in 1 or 2 sessions, a shoulder piece - 1-3 sessions depending on size and design. A half-sleeve will run about 3-5 sessions.
These are ranges, not quotes. Detail level and placement move them more than size does. Send me your idea and I'll give you a real estimate.
Not sure how big your idea wants to be? That's normal. Send it over with a rough placement and I'll tell you what it actually needs.
Floral Tattoos Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, I do! Most of my work is black & grey, but I absolutely do color, too!

Most floral half sleeves would run 3–5 sessions or more and 15–20 hours, which at $250/hr puts a typical one in the range of $3,750–$5,000. Detail level and size matter a lot. I can give you a real estimate once I see the idea and the placement.

Please do! A photo of the actual flower is more useful to me than someone else's tattoo of it. Bring the reference, tell me what you like about it, and I'll draw it for your body rather than copying a design that was drawn for someone else's.

Florals age very well, if they're built for it. Line weight and spacing matters a lot! I am designing tattoos that read clearly in 10 years later, which sometimes means talking the customers out of the tightest, thinnest, and smallest version of their idea towards something more durable that they will continue loving years and decades later.
